What to Expect on Beyond the Gates

Are we beginning to see Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) softening? In Tuesday's episode, Nicole debates her treatment of Ted (Keith D. Robinson) while he deals with an unwelcome reality check. Is Ted ready to accept his new life without Nicole in it? Ted realizes that his future is now an open book, and he can make it however he wants.

Brother vs sister

Samantha (Najah Jackson) snuck in a kiss with her beau, but all won't be so rosy once her parents find out. But one person she can always count on is her brother Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller), or so she thought. In Tuesday's episode, Tyrell and Samantha clash, which leaves Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning) to deal with the fallout. And that's one thing Martin and Smitty could do without, as they have enough of their own feelings and drama to deal with. Martin and Smitty do their best to get the house back on an even keel this week.

Since she arrived in Fairmont Crest, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) has been making waves and getting on the wrong side of just about everyone. In a bizarre twist of fate, Leslie has been gifted a fortune, and she plans to use it to restore herself to the lifestyle that she wants for her and Eva (Ambyr Michelle). In Tuesday's episode, Leslie one-ups the Duprees. This constant battle between Leslie and the Duprees can only have one victor, but Leslie is happy to take any win she can get.

A friend in need

Naomi and Jacob have done wonders for June since they first discovered her at the police station after being arrested in the removal of homeless people from Tent City. She has a job now and is looking and feeling healthier than ever. Even more, she’s reconnected with the two children she put up for adoption. In Tuesday's episode, Naomi and Jacob help a friend, and there's a really good chance that this friend is June and she’s run afoul of her new manager.
