Beyond the Gates Summary for the week of October 13-17, 2025: Randy is Hayley's cousin – and “Hayley” is the wife from hell

What happened on Beyond the Gates

On Beyond the Gates, Shanice was overjoyed that Derek was able to move his leg, but as he went to tell Ashley about it, he witnessed her in close conversation with Andre and Alix, the woman whose baby Andre and Ashley had delivered in the hospital elevator. He instead marked his territory in front of Alix and informed her that Andre was married.

Leslie saw June being friendly with Ted and warned June to stay away from him. June stood her ground, unafraid of Leslie's threats. Nicole scoffed when Leslie claimed that she and Ted were living under the same roof; when Leslie implied she would target Kat for going after “Eva's man,” Tomás, Nicole promised she'd be ready to defend her daughter. Ted and June were surprised to learn that they were each connected to Samantha and Tyrell.

Ted rebuffed Leslie, who attempted to seduce him wearing her old waitress uniform. As Leslie maneuvered Ted onto his desk, Kat caught them in the compromising position and berated Ted, who maintained his innocence. Eva caught on to Leslie's plan to push her and Tomás together; Tomás suggested that Eva date someone else to discourage Leslie, but Eva didn't think it would work. Meanwhile, Kat recreated Tomás' hotel room date; when Tomás couldn't disassociate the bed from the moment she had called him a bad lover, Kat offered to make love on any other available surface.

When Donnell wanted Joey to back off, as Donnell was quitting college so he could take care of his mom, Joey offered Donnell a job; Donnell didn't want to work at the Lakeview because Doug had lived his last moments there. Vanessa defended Joey to Nicole, only for Joey to break up with her to keep Donnell from finding out they were together. Joey accepted that Vanessa wanted to stay with him, while Vanessa asked Randy not to tell anyone about her relationship with Joey.

Smitty continued to worry about Joey calling in his marker with Martin and remained wary of June's involvement in Samantha's life. The reporter arranged a surprise vow renewal ceremony for Martin, which included Ted and Nicole, who had just received their divorce decree. Ted tried to use the reunion of his son and son-in-law as a means of convincing Nicole to reunite with him; Nicole held firm, but she was affected by Smitty and Martin's vows and ran out. Leslie saw Nicole going into Ted's room; as the now-ex-Richardsons hugged, Leslie pulled the hotel's fire alarm as a disruption.

Andre considered Dani's offer to let him out of their marriage as Hayley implored Andre to keep Dani away from Bill. Dani gave Bill a sentimental birthday present, after which Bill kissed her – and Hayley saw it. Andre observed Dani's less-than-enthusiastic reaction to his announcement that he wanted to stay married to her and wondered if Dani had been hoping to be free to pursue Bill. Dani expressed a sincere desire to work on her marriage to Andre and invited him to move in with her. Pamela thought Andre would make an excellent model for her and Dani's agency.

Hayley raged to her cousin – Randy – that it was time to take Bill for everything he had. She had never loved Bill; he had only ever been a mark to drain financially, as Hayley had done with many other men in the past. When Randy proposed that Hayley empty the college fund Bill had set up for their “baby” and leave town, Hayley decided she wanted Bill dead so she could collect on his $10 million life insurance policy instead. While Randy worked on procuring an untraceable poison so it would look like Bill died of natural causes, Hayley spiked Bill's birthday cupcake with a poison of her own; Naomi bit into it by mistake, but spit the unpalatable treat out.

After Naomi spoke to Dani about motherhood in the hopes of coming around to it herself, she told Jacob to back off in terms of trying to sway her. June guided Samantha through a problem she was having with Nathan, then told Jacob that he would be a good dad. Jacob asked June who had fathered Tyrell and Samantha, but she would only say the man was “gone.” Naomi asked Ashley to administer a proper hospital test to refute or verify the results of the home test she had taken.
