Beyond the Gates Summary for the week of October 27-31, 2025: Samantha had the “worst Halloween ever” and Hayley moved to frame Leslie

What happened on Beyond the Gates

On Beyond the Gates, Nicole debated whether or not to proceed in dating Carlton, but after encouragement from Dani – and Vernon, who suggested that maybe Nicole was gun shy after her divorce from Ted – Nicole asked Carlton out to dinner. The get-together fell through when Ted got wind of it and confronted Carlton in front of his ex-wife; Nicole was embarrassed, but came to realize that it was too soon for her to see someone new. Carlton was willing to wait and gave Nicole a gentle kiss.

Leslie was surprised when she and Ted had a civil conversation, during which he pondered whether or not they could be friends. Eva was moved when Ted gave her permission to call him “Dad”; when Leslie found out, she hugged Ted warmly, which Nicole saw.

Izaiah was hired by Banneker University, but he was still dubious about taking the position until his ex-girlfriend, Yolanda, slammed the door on any further communication between them. Eva's conversation with Izaiah was going well until Kat interrupted and warned him about Eva, which Chelsea felt was over the line. Izaiah's reunion with brother Jacob and father Elon took a combative turn when Elon berated Izaiah for not becoming a cop like his other children; Izaiah was also mystified that Jacob, who had always idolized Elon, no longer seemed to. Sparks continued to fly between Eva and Izaiah, but Eva was shocked when she learned that Izaiah's brother was Jacob, who had worked to put Leslie behind bars.

Anita wanted to dedicate a Dupree foundation function to Barbara, but Laura was worried that Leslie, as Barbara's daughter, would want to horn in. Dani proposed that the winner of the auction be granted a private lunch with The Articulettes. Derek, still struggling to get up out of his wheelchair, wanted to set a wedding date with Ashley, but she seemed too stressed out from work to concentrate on it. Vanessa giggled with Dani about how good sex with Joey was – then confessed that she wanted to be at his side in business.

Tomás bristled at jokes about the injury to his penis and pressed Kat to stop making the fact that she had caused it the focal point of their relationship. Madison was annoyed with Chelsea for attempting to broker peace between her and her mother; Nicole appreciated that Madison was trying to be sensitive as Chelsea recovered from her kidnapping trauma, but the shrink also advocated for Madison to honor her own feelings and needs where Chelsea was concerned. As Kat and Chelsea discussed their relationship issues, Chelsea sided with Tomás, and Kat sided with Madison.

Hayley balked when Leslie put forward that they work together to accomplish their goals; Leslie grinned that she could see through Hayley's “Sunday school act.” Inspired by Leslie's veiled threats toward Bill, Hayley implied that Leslie might mean to cause Bill harm. Continuing to plan life after Bill's demise, Hayley scanned potential homes in St. Barts but got caught by Bill; after claiming that she was looking for a vacation home for the two of them, Bill promptly made an offer on a property. Joey ran into Hayley and alerted her that he knew about her affair with Randy – but Hayley laughed and alleged that the only man she knew in Joey's employ was “Sammy,” who was obviously lying about any involvement with her.
