On Beyond the Gates, Randy had one job: to take out the trash and make it discreet. But Kenny is alive and well, and Joey is livid. Are Randy’s days numbered — and the countdown begun?
No one killed Kenny on Beyond the Gates

Randy Parker, played by Maurice P. Kerry, has been a fan favorite with his slick scenes involving the shady mob boss and casino owner, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). But with recent developments, are we about to see the end of Randy?

Kenny (Jason Vendryes) was counting his money after blackmailing Martin when Randy walked into the room with a gun. It was a moment of surprise and pure joy for the viewers, and only got better when Randy told Kenneth that the money was just there to get him to drop his guard. Randy had come to clean up the mess, and it was time for Kenny and Randy to go for a drive. But instead of Kenny sleeping with the fishes, as Randy had reported back to Joey, there was a problem: a possible witness when Randy was disposing of Kenny’s body. But was any of Randy’s account true?
What happened — and what now?

In a shocking development, Joey opened the bag of money meant to distract Kenny and began counting it. There was a discrepancy in the amount of money that was in the bag compared to what was put into the bag. Joey immediately rang Randy to get an explanation, but instead of Randy answering, Joey heard the phone ringing — in the room. When Joey realized Randy's phone was in the garbage bin, he called Detective Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy). Joey left his friend a message that he needed to find Randy — as of yesterday.

The clock is ticking for the “Man in Black.” Marcel has the might of the DCMP on his side and can make it very hard for Randy to stay hidden for long, given that the city is locked down and there wont be any chance of Randy taking that trip to Disneyland. The only trip he’s going on will be back to face the music with his Boss, it’s just a matter of time. As for Randy’s boss, Joey does not tolerate mistakes, and his threats are never idle.

It’s been nice knowing you, Randy, but we fear it’ll now be you sleeping with the fishes or taking a dirt nap. But is this really the end of the road for Doug’s (Jason Graham) “day-one buddy?” Randy may be in deep now, but he didn’t get where he’s at without having some tricks up his sleeve. After all he’s done for Doug, maybe it’s time for his friend to be there for him, an eleventh-hour rescue scenario. Kerry has other projects coming up, including filming for Stranger Things season five, and there are murmurings in Hollywood that he could be starring opposite Michael B. Jordan in the upcoming movie Rainbow Six. We are just going to have to wait and see how this plays out, soap fans.
