Beyond the Gates' Colby Muhammad is counting down the days until her wedding 

On Beyond the Gates, Kat may seem to be with Tomas (Alex Alegria) and feuding with Eva (Ambyr Michelle), but the star who portrays her, Colby Muhammad, is happily engaged and preparing to wed her real-life fiancé, Keith Nixon, Jr.

Colby Muhammad (Kat Richardson) posted her engagement photos on April 11th with the simple caption: 6.21.25 ♾️

The couple originally posted the happy news on their respective Instagrams in January with a beautiful engagement video.

Of course, fans and friends alike celebrated Muhammad on the wonderful news of the wedding getting closer and closer. Her co-stars chimed in with congratulations, including Maurice Johnson (Ted), Karla Mosley (Dani), Ambyr Michelle (Eva), Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa), Marquita Goings (Hayley), Mike Manning (Smitty), Brandon Claybon (Martin) and Arielle Prepetit (Naomi).

Fans also chimed in to congratulate the happy couple, with one writing "That’s true LOVE right there. Felicitaciones a los dos 💕✨" and another stating "Congratssss to you both!!!" These words came amongst many comments of heart emojis, heart eyes, and even gifs of celebration.

On April 14th, Muhammad then posted more photos of the couple's engagement photoshoot in black and white, asking, "Is it giving old Hollywood?"

This post was, of course, also given much love from fans and her Beyond the Gates family, as well, with Sean Freeman (Andre) stating "*practices “Tamia line dance” for the reception 🕺🏾".

Beyond the Gates' Muhammad is finalizing wedding plans

On April 16, 2025, Muhammad continued her celebration of love by sharing more news about the ceremony, stating that she and her fiancé, Keith, had traveled to Virginia Beach to sample options for the wedding menu. Muhammad stated on Instagram, "Two months until the wedding! We took a trip to Virginia Beach to taste some food options for the wedding. What was the best meal you’ve had at a wedding? 🤔 Still trying to decide between a few options!" Muhammad asked her followers for help with the menu, as planning a wedding is full of many choices. Hopefully, the couple can decide on a meal that is pleasing to them as well as their guests.

The soon-to-be missus is, of course, counting down the days until she weds her beau, Keith, in June. According to his Instagram bio, Nixon Jr. is a "visual storyteller and consummate reductionist." Many congratulations to the couple, and Soap Central wishes them a joyous union and a happy marriage.
