What to expect on Beyond the Gates

This week on Beyond the Gates promises to deliver all your favorite soapy drama in heaping servings. In a strange twist of events, we see Eva (Ambyr Michelle) coming into her hotel room, with none other than Tomas (Alex Alegria) accompanying her. What on earth are you thinking, Mr. Navarro? But something doesn't feel right to Eva, and we see her look like something is amiss in her room. Does she think something is missing, or can she tell that someone has been in her room? While undoubtedly Eva will suspect her mom being the one who came snooping, she couldn't be more wrong; Kat (Colby Muhammed) is in the room and hiding under the bed. Kat’s search for evidence might land her in a whole world of trouble.

Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) was all keen to be spending time with Joey (Jon Lindstrom) and taking their flirtations to the next level, but now something is very wrong. With an almighty bang, Vanessa slams her hands down on the poker table and yells, “ How dare you?” Is this being yelled at Joey? It would appear so as next we see Vanessa, face awash with fury, slap Joey across the face. Has Vanessa found out from Doug (Jason Graham) what Joey was doing and that he was just using her to get at Doug? All will be revealed on Beyond the Gates, but this certainly ups the ante between Doug and Joey. Will Joey now lash out at Doug? And what position will this put Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) in?

Sharon (Bonita Brisker) has only been in town a New York minute, but she has already been on a tear. No sooner than coming through the big front door to the Dupree mansion, she’s taken Anita (Tamara Tunie) to task for the wrongdoings and suffering she put her and Tracy (Maria Howell) through. She went up one side of Anita and down the other, and tells Anita that maybe it’s time she let everyone in on the secret, including Vernon (Clifton Davis), that Anita has been so afraid of people finding out, especially Vernon. Anita is beside herself and breaks down in tears, clutching her face. How bad is this secret, and will we all look at Anita differently now? Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) has alluded to how cutthroat the Duprees were and how he was their clean-up man; maybe nothing is as it seems behind closed doors in Fairmont Crest.
