What to expect on Beyond the Gates
This could be the worst pun. With Kenny (Jason Vendryes) now dead, the body's discovery will become a police matter and an investigation. In Thursday's episode, Jacob (Jibre Hordges) arrives with grave news for Smitty (Mike Manning). Smitty is going to suspect that Martin (Brandon Claybon) had something to do with this and that's not going to sit well at all. In a house full of tension, suspecting that your husband could be capable of murder is just going to add to the woes. Will Smitty get to the bottom of this with his marriage intact?
A typical day at Orphey Gene’s
Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) arrived at Orphey Gene’s at the request of her new business partner, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). It was quickly discovered that she was there to be seen with Joey, serving as a witness to his presence, thereby establishing an alibi. In Thursday's episode, Vanessa imparts information that sends Nicole on a fact-finding mission. There was a lot to process around the hastily assembled press conference, and Vanessa couldn’t keep something that big to herself. Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) will use this information to go straight to her mother, Anita (Tamara Tunie). But she better be ready for what comes out when the can of worms is opened. How Nicole is going to deal with yet another family secret is going to be tough; another betrayal is how she will likely see this and they just keep coming for her. As for loose lips, Vanessa should take Joey very seriously. As much as she feels she is on the inside, in a hrartbeat she too can be collateral damage in Joeys world. Marcel is afterall, just a phone call away.
