What to expect on Beyond the Gates
Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) leaves the Dupree mansion after having it out with her mother over the secret they had kept for the last two years. Martin's (Brandon Claybon) dark past was a big blow to Nicole, and she feels betrayed and hurt all over again. What cuts the most is that it comes at the hands of her parents. But the revelation that Ted kept another secret, this time being part of the cover-up after Martin's incident, is even more devastating. Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) performed the plastic surgery on Kenneth (Jason Vendryes). In Monday's episode, Nicole confronts Ted about yet another secret he's been harboring. Ted is going to want to brace for this one.
Guilt will eat you
Vernon (Clifton Davis) feels overwhelmed with guilt, and it's eating at him. Vernon wonders if things would have been different if events had been handled differently in the past and recently. The family is hurting, and now Nicole is angry at them for helping Martin cover up the events after that night on a dark road two years ago. Moreover, she feels that she should have been informed and that she could have handled it. In Monday's episode, Anita (Tamara Tunie) tries to ease Vernon's guilt. Vernon says they will do what they always do; the pair will hold the family together while they heal.

Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) gets a raw deal at the hands of Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla). Not long after Vernon gave Bill a piece of his mind that cut him deep, Chelsea arrived at the offices of Bill Hamilton Esq. And this girl is not happy. In Monday's episode, Chelsea is livid with her father. Chelsea says she can't believe that her dad put them in this position. Bill did what was needed, again, and whether people want to agree or disagree, there was a lot at stake. Chelsea, after making progress with her dad after the end of her marriage with her mom, is now firmly back at square one. Will Bill be able to talk his way out of this one and back into his daughter's favor?
