What to Expect on Beyond the Gates
This week, we are still seeing the fallout of Martin's (Brandon Claybon) secret being revealed and Kenny's (Jason Vendryes) death. Jacob (Jibre Hordges) is deep-diving into the investigation, and the only leads he has involve Martin, Marcel (Darryl W. Handy), and Vernon (Clifton Davis). Despite his wife's pleas to tread carefully, Jacob wants answers. In Thursday's episode, Vernon comes clean to Naomi (Arielle Prepetit). As an officer of the court, she is held to the same standard as Jacob, but her loyalty lies with the family. This revelation is going to test Naomi and Jacob's relationship, and Vernon and Anita will have to hold firm to keep the family together while they heal.
Another Dupree coming at him
Since finding out the secret that Martin has been holding onto for two years, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) has been on the warpath telling everyone that they did her dirty and her son. Nicole claims that Martin has been unable to get the help he needs because of the family that didnt trust her enough to tell her the truth. In Thursdays episode, Nicole confronts Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) about how he's hurt Martin. Bill hamilton, the fixer will no doubt not take that well, as he has only been responsible for cleaning up all the Dupree famly messes at the bequest of Vernon. Bill did his job, so the Duprees could maintain distance from any fallout and keep the clean image they like to present. Nicole is not going to have a receptive audience for this.
Kat doesn’t like what she sees

Tomas (Alex Alegria) and Eva (Ambyr Michelle) shared their first kiss in such a public space, while Ted was telling Kat (Colby Muhammed) that Eva wouldn't pursue her man, that it was not like Eva and not who she was, espcially knowing that the two were an item. Little did Ted know that was exactly what was going on, but it was also reciprocated by Tomas. In Thursday's episode, Kat is unnerved by what she walks in on. Does she hear or see something involving those two? Or does she hear talk regarding Martin's secret? Stay tuned, soap fans.
