What to expect on Beyond the Gates
The discovery that Chelsea’s (RhonniRose Mantilla) latest object of desire is the same Dr. Montgomery (Kenjah McNeil) who will be looking after her father, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett), was quite the reveal. Chelsea knows what she likes and she wants what she likes, so this connection is not likely to deter her. However, she may want to make sure they are on the same page if they progress, so as to avoid another heartache like before. In Tuesday's episode, Chelsea and Madison Montgomery connect.
Vernon, right place, right time
Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is one worried girl; she believes that it is all her fault that her father Bill is in the hospital. She believes that the lawsuit, and how hostile she has been since Bill and Hayley's (Marquita Goings) relationship became very public knowledge (for all the wrong reasons), have caused his medical condition. How will she get this notion out of her head? It’s preposterous that it could be all her fault, and the right man for the job is at hand. In Tuesday's episode, Vernon calms a nervous Naomi. Vernon certainly has a way with words and the ability to say them in a way that the message gets through in the right way. And if anyone can convince Naomi that it’s not her fault and to just be there for her father at his time of need, it’s Vernon.

Deep down, Dani (Karla Mosley) isn't over Bill, not completely, and seeing him in the hospital had all sorts of feelings rushing back to her, ones she probably wishes she didn't still have, but there they are. They had a long marriage and a lot of good times, and letting it all go and moving on isn't as easy as it needs to be. Andre (Sean Freeman) has definitely noticed and made comments to Dani about this, but on Tuesdays episode, Dani's feelings for her ex complicate things with her new boo. Will Andre be understanding and keep being the man in waiting? Every day that he sees Ashley and Derek, he wishes he could have something like that — or does he wish he could have exactly that.
