What to expect on Beyond the Gates

Kat (Colby Muhammed) is looking into the possibility that Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) could very well be the one she is after, which will not alter how she feels about Eva (Ambyr Michelle), but it will give Kat focus. All she needs is to find something, something concrete that she can show or point Detective Hawthorne( Jibre Hordges) to. In Friday's episode, A crucial piece of evidence comes to light in Kat's investigation of Leslie. Where are my helmet and gloves asks Leslie to Eva. Does this mean that Eva is proactively trying to separate herself from her momma before it’s too late and she shares the same fate that her mom appears destined to have? A long time to contemplate things from behind bars.

The struggle is real

Since the blow-up at Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Nicole's (Daphnée Duplaix) anniversary party, Ted has been living at a hotel instead of the family house in Fairmont Crest. His attempts to talk with Nicole have mostly been met with anger and snark. Infact the only comment that might have given Ted hope for the future was when Nicole told Ted that he had brought this woman into their lives and it was his job to protect this family, so somewhere deep down Nicole still considers them a family, which is a good start, but on Fridays episode, Ted struggles with how to repair his relationship with Nicole. Does Nicole want to fix what they had? One source of good advice came from one of the unlikeliest of sources, her sister Dani (Karla Mosley). Can anyone help Ted? Or is he on his own on this one?

Will Sharon articulate her response better with Tracy?

Whatever the horrible things Sharon (to be played by Bonita Brisker) finds unforgivable, Anita (Tamara Tunie) hopes for better luck, having Tracy (Maria Howell) play peacemaker and go-between with Sharon. When Anita rang Sharon, there was silence on the other end of the phone, and it hung up once Anita’s voice was heard. Tracy and Anita haven't moved on; there is still much that needs talking about, but with Tracy saying she will try to bridge the gap, there may be hope that the three ladies will again sit in one room. In Friday's episode, Anita fears the past will derail her future.
