Beyond the Gates Spoilers, next week sneak peak May 12-16: Eva looks for happiness, Leslie seeks revenge, and Kat wants answers

Here are your Beyond the Gates spoilers for next week, when Eva and the audience get to know a new version of Ted. Here’s a look ahead at the episodes we’ll see from Monday, May 12th to Friday, May 16th, 2025.

Eva (Ambyr Michelle) may have been shut out by one parent, but she makes her moves to be part of the other’s life. Eva and Ted (Maurice Johnson) have some years to make up for, if he’s serious about making room in his life for his newly-discovered daughter.

It doesn’t seem like there is anything Eva can right with her mom, though. At Orphey Gene’s, Leslie (Trisha Mann Grant) lays into her daughter angrily next week. “Look at you, living the life, with the parent that you chose,” Leslie sneers. She seems rather jealous that Eva is doing what Leslie claimed she wanted for her daughter. “Don't give me another thought,” Leslie pouts.

Cute couple moments

Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) add some humor to the grave situations their family seems to be in. As the couple sits at the grand piano in their mansion, Anita grabs Vernon's cell phone and says, “Anything for you, Mr. Dupree,” which causes Vernon to smile more, and he leans in to kiss Anita. She gently touches his cheek and moves the phone out of her husband’s reach. Vernon's smile quickly fades, but she seems content. Was he wanting to push the revival of her singing career?

Kat wants answers

Kat (Colby Muhammed) has had her life turn upside down and she wants answers, not more shocking revelations. Leslie is more than happy to oblige — with misinformation. Is Leslie that diabolical that she would now try to ruin Eva’s chances for happiness, after claiming that was all she wanted for her? Looks like it. Next week, Leslie tells Kat that it was Eva who ran Laura (Destiny Love) off the road.

Dani and Andre are exposed

Next week, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) catches on to Andre (Sean Freeman) spending time with Dani (Karla Mosley) and asks what is going on between them. Andre and Dani have been enjoying their time together, but is it only attractive as a secret? Andre might be getting his feelings hurt if Dani likes being with him only when others don’t know. Dani will ask Andre, “What took you so long to wind up in my bed?” but does she really want him completely in her life? So, how will Dani answer her sister’s question — and why is she asking? If people started finding out about Dani and Andre, it could take some of the spotlight off of Nicole’s marital woes, or at least give people something else to gossip.
