Joey (Jon Lindstrom) has told Doug (Jason Graham) that either you call your wife or I will. Joey is not so sick of Doug being unable to pay his debt; it’s more a case of him using Doug the whole time to get him in debt as far as he could, then calling it in. Knowing full well that Doug couldn’t pay, Joey could get Doug to launder money in vast sums through his wife's realty business. Along the way, Joey finds Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) to be more than easy on the eye and pursues her for more than monetary needs. Joey and Vanessa flirt at Orphey Gene’s, and Doug enters and sees them together, panic on his face. At the Dupree mansion, Anita (Tamara Tunie) has welcomed old friend and fellow Articulette, Tracy (Maria Howell) into the house, and the two have no problem reconnecting. What do they have in store for Vernon (Clifton Davis)?
Derek (Ben Gavin) comes home at night to hear voices inside the house. Andre (Sean Freeman) and Ashley (Jen Jacob) are in the lounge, locked in an embrace, and Ashley is thanking Andre for being such a good friend. Derek can’t be blind to Andre’s interest in Ashley, and this must sting even more given the increasing divide between them over the last week. Since moving in together, nothing has been going smoothly, and little things are blowing up into much bigger issues. Is this the beginning of the end for Derek and Ashley? Oh no, Ted (Keith D. Robinson) returns to his hotel room by the looks of it, only to find that trifling troublemaker Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) standing in the doorway, coyly calling him Teddy Boo and asking him what took him so long. Leslie has made it clear that she is far from finished in Fairmont Crest and announced to all present at Orphey Gene’s that she still has a few tricks up her sleeve. Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett) has taken measures to protect himself with a cease and desist letter, but Ted, hopefully, hasn't walked into another trap of Leslie's. It’s said every week, but it’s no less true again, next week is going to be a treat!
