DVR Alert! The airing of Beyond the Gates will deviate from its normal programming and bring us a re-screening of the premiere week. On Monday, June 30th, to Friday, July 4th, we will get to see the first five episodes of our favorite soap’s inaugural season.
Beyond the Gates pre-emption
It’s not often that viewers of soap operas get a repeat, but this week is an exception. Some may have missed it, and for those who have been watching since day one, it's a chance to reacquaint ourselves with our favorite characters and parts of their backstory that are most assuredly important now but have long since been forgotten. Or maybe you just want to refresh yourself with some of the details, for instance, Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) taking payoffs from Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
Premiere week brings us some of the show's first dramatic scenes, who can forget Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and the disintegration of her Marriage to Bill (Timon Kyle Durett), the wedding of Bill and Hayley (Marquita Goings), and the unforgettable moment that transpired there.

Monday, June 30th, Dani gets invited to Bill and Hayley's wedding, and Ashley starts work at Garland Memorial Hospital.
Tuesday, July 1st, Andre returns to Fairmont Crest, and Anita promises to protect Martin.
Wednesday, July 2nd, Leslie begins what will become an epic journey of revenge and destruction.
Thursday, July 3rd, Jacob gets his new partner, Marcel Malone
Friday, July 4th, Eva begins her new job and plays her part in her mom's revenge tour, and Dani gives Bill and Hayley a wedding gift neither will ever forget.
