This month, Ted (then Maurice Johnson) and Nicole's (Daphnée Duplaix) anniversary party was blown up by Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) with the revelation to all present that Ted had an affair before his daughter Kat (Colby Muhammed) was born — and that affair resulted in another daughter, Eva (Ambyr Michelle). Leslie and Eva’s motivations after their arrival in Fairmont Crest have come under the eye of Detective Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges). Doug’s (Jason Graham) gambling addiction is starting to unravel things between him and his wife, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli). Martin’s (Brandon Claybon) recurring nightmares are linked to one night, when he did something terrible, and he has insinuated that Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett) was involved. We are getting closer to it being revealed what actually happened — and whose lives will be blown up because of it.

ABOUT BEYOND THE GATES

Beyond the Gates is set in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington, D.C., and in one of the most affluent African American counties in the United States. Here you’ll find a posh gated community with winding tree-lined streets and luxurious mansions to call home. At the center of this community are the Duprees, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that is the very definition of Black royalty. But behind these pristine walls and lush, manicured gardens are juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered. And those that live outside these gates are watching closely. These are the places where our characters live, love, work, and play. Those who have “made it” and those who haven’t are all trying to navigate life…and some with more grace than others.

BTG stars Tamara Tunie, Clifton Davis, Daphnee Duplaix, Karla Mosley, Alex Alegria, Lauren Buglioli, Brandon Claybon, Timon Kyle Durrett, Sean Freeman, Ben Gavin, Marquita Goings, Jibre Hordges, Jen Jacob, Trisha Mann-Grant, Mike Manning, RhonniRose Mantilla, Ambyr Michelle, Colby Muhammad, Arielle Prepetit, and Keith D.
