St. John to host fundraising event for families in need

Two-time Emmy winner Kristoff St. John is lending his star power to a New Mexico event that hopes to raise much-needed funds to help families in need have access to fresh produce.

Emmy winner Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) has landed a new role as host for SeptemberFIESTA, a music festival launching on September 28 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A portion of all ticket sales will be used to create the community's first Enchanted Garden, an organic garden that will be used to subsidize and supplement food programs with fresh produce for low-income families and those in need in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

"They're trying to raise consciousness and money for those in dire need," St. John told Soap Opera Digest. "I'll be there with my afro hair, so come and share!"

The event will be help September 28, from 10am to 10pm at the Albuquerque Civic Plaza. Additional information can be obtained at septemberfiesta.com
