P&G Super Bowl ad features The Young and the Restless' Kate Linder

The Young and the Restless' Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) made a cameo appearance in the Procter and Gamble Super Bowl ad, but there's a secret way you can access more clips of the actress in the interactive commercial.

People all over the world are celebrating exciting moments from Super Bowl LIV, including the stellar halftime show by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, and the big win by the Kansas City Chiefs against their opponents, the San Francisco 49ers. But daytime fans had an additional big moment to swoon over -- The Young and the Restless' Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) popped up in the Procter and Gamble commercial starring Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara.

Called When We All Come Together, the ad shows how a great chili spill almost ruins Vergara's Super Bowl party -- until several P&G products like Bounty paper towels, Charmin toilet paper, and Febreze odor eliminator help save the day. Linder is featured as a guest at the star-studded party, which also includes appearances by Troy Palomalu, Isaiah Mustafa, Busy Phillips, Manolo Vergara, and Rob Riggle as Bounty Man.

The P&G Super Bowl ad was unique in that several pre-game versions were created in order to allow Americans to vote on their favorite segments and ultimately create the final version that aired during Sunday night's game. Linder's portion was sadly cut short in the vote, but Proctor and Gamble still has all of the commercial's original clips available, so fans can see the portions that didn't air on Sunday -- including a longer clip featuring the Y&R actress.

There is a catch, however. The P&G commercial clips are organized in a "choose your own adventure" style, so you have to know which clips to click on and in which exact order to click on them if you want to access Linder's clip. Luckily, the actress shared the secret code on social media -- and we're sharing it, too.

To access the clip featuring Linder, begin watching the When We Come Together commercial here. When prompted to make your first choice about the music that plays during the party, click 80's sax. From there, continue clicking on the option furthest to the left, and eventually, you will get to Linder's clip!

And if you want to see even more of Kate, she will be hosting her annual high tea event for charity this spring. Linder will be joined by Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), Sharon Case (Sharon Newman), Mark Grossman (Adam Newman), Bryton James (Devon Hamilton), and Brytni Sarpy (Elena Dawson) for the event, which will be held Sunday, April 5, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. 88% of all proceeds will go to March of Dimes Canada. As daytime fans know, soap stars have made regular appearances at the Super Bowl and in the big commercials. One Life to Life alum Rene Elise Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline Williamson) sang with her former Hamilton costars in the pregame show for Super Bowl LI in 2017; Mark Lawson (Dustin Phillips, General Hospital; ex-Brody Lovett, OLTL) was the star of an out-of-this-world Audi commercial that aired during Super Bowl 50 in 2016; The Young and the Restless' Max Page (ex-Reed Hellstrom) starred as a pint-sized Darth Vader in a Volkswagen ad during Super Bowl XLV in 2011; and several stars from Y&R and The Bold and the Beautiful celebrated Super Bowl 50 in 2016 by dressing in their finest and posing with a gold Super Bowl football.

This year, in addition to Linder, General Hospital's Sonya Eddy (Epiphany Johnson) appeared in an epic commercial for Facebook.

What do you think about Kate Linder's P&G Super Bowl ad? Which version of the Procter and Gamble commercial is your favorite? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
