Audra's secret weapon to break up Claire and Kyle on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Audra has a deal with Victor Newman to break up the happy couple of Kyle and Claire. Impossible? No, not with Audra’s secret weapon.

Deal or no deal on The Young and the Restless

Audra (Zuleyka Silver) has made a deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Victor will give Audra her own company to run; this is a huge offer, but it comes at the price of having Audra break up Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire (Hayley Erin). Audra desperately wants her own company to run. But can she do what some say is the impossible task of putting a wedge between Claire and Kyle? It’s looking especially hard given that the two have professed their love for each other. So, how does Audra think she has any chance of success?

Audra rolls out the big guns

Summer (Alison Lanier) has admitted that she wants Kyle back, and this was what put an end to Chance having a, well, a chance. But Summer is not likely to team up with Audra. So if it’s not Summer that Audra will use, then who? He’s been on our screens since late last year: Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).

Now, it’s no secret that Claire and Holden get along well and that Claire looks like she feels more alive with Holden. He’s like that breath of fresh air and that sense of a thrill that Kyle just does not give her. They have flirted together, and it looked good on screen, right? A certain sort of chemistry that is elsewhere lacking. Audra is going to roll out the big guns, and get Holden to flex HIS guns, and Claire is going to respond to that. It doesn't even need to go so far as to have Holden get Claire into bed, just be seen together. Enough times, and Kyle will start to feel insecure — and in those moments Audra can make her move.

Holden has said that he wants to stick around in Genoa City and that he would like to work with Audra. If she were to spot him talking to Claire, she would probably come to the same conclusion we do: that Holden could be the secret weapon she needs to fulfill her obligation to Victor.

Will Kyle succumb? And show Claire who he really is? Of all the possible solutions to Audra’s problem, this is what’s most likely to succeed. If Kyle thinks that Claire is attracted elsewhere and isn't being honest about loving him, then this will be the undoing of Claire and Kyle's short-lived relationship.
