Lucy sneaked out and ran into Faith. Lucy apologized to Faith for all the trouble she had caused when they'd gone to the concert. Lucy told Faith she regretted messing up their friendship and wanted to mend it, but Faith said that she was going back to college soon. She encouraged Lucy to find local friends her own age.
Sharon continued talking to Cameron’s ghost, who told her that he wasn’t going away until she figured out the source of her frustration and confusion. Cameron said that when Cassie had died, Sharon had lost her daughter, but she'd also lost her husband to Phyllis. “The last time you were truly happy was before Cassie died, and that was a long, long time ago,” Cameron said.
Sharon became agitated and snapped at Cameron that she had been happy since her divorce from Nick. Sharon added that it repulsed her that Cameron had left his company to her in his will. She insisted she had turned it into something good. Cameron said that she was using the company to help herself, too, as a way to ease the guilt she felt for brutally ending his life. Sharon angrily told Cameron that she didn’t need a psychotic criminal analyzing her. Cameron reminded Sharon that all of his words were her own thoughts.
Sharon was determined to purge Cameron from her mind forever. Cameron told her that if she found closure with Cassie “by any means necessary,” it would open the door to a future with Nick.

Sally repeatedly asked Adam to tell her the truth. He tried avoiding, denying, and even gaslighting, but Sally kept bringing the conversation back to the yes or no question of whether or not Adam and Chelsea had slept together in Baltimore.
Adam tearfully told Sally that he had been distant because of the stress around Connor’s treatment and that he felt like a failure in nearly all aspects of life. Adam convincingly told Sally that he loved her more than anything and would never do anything to risk losing her again. Adam said he was especially upset that his distraction and distance had caused Sally to stop trusting him and believing in his love for her.
Adam looked Sally in the eye and told her that he and Chelsea had never slept together while they'd been in Baltimore. Sally told Adam that she believed him, and she hoped that they, along with Billy and Chelsea, could move past suspicions and focus on Connor.
Billy consoled Chelsea and told her she could tell him anything. Chelsea shared that she and Adam had been so scared and angry about Connor trying to cut himself that it had been overwhelming. Chelsea said she and Adam had had a bottle of booze and a terrible sense of desperation, and they'd drunk to block out the pain and heartache. “Things got out of control, and before we knew what was happening, we slept together,” Chelsea admitted.
Chelsea told Billy that he meant everything to her, and she begged for his forgiveness. “I’m glad you told me the truth,” Billy said. Chelsea expected Billy to explode in a rage, but he calmly told her he didn’t feel anything but numbness. He admitted he wasn’t sure what he would feel when it went away.
Chelsea apologized profusely and swore that she loved Billy more than anything. Chelsea begged for Billy's forgiveness, but he didn’t seem moved. When Chelsea said she wished she could take it back and regain his trust, Billy said he felt the same way.
Upset, Billy said he needed time alone. Chelsea called out to him that she loved him, but Billy just walked away without answering.
Faith's friend Miriam invited her out, but Faith decided to go home to see her mom instead. When Faith walked into the house, she asked who Sharon was talking to.
Billy went to the park. Crying, he gripped a handrail as he let out a heartbreaking scream.
Sally told Adam that she was glad they'd talked, and she felt a huge weight lifted. As she went on about feeling so much better with the stress of worrying gone, Adam received a text from Chelsea, warning him that she'd told Billy the truth.
