Lauralee Bell and Melissa Claire Egan preview The Young and the Restless and General Hospital Family Feud showdown

Stars from The Young and the Restless and General Hospital are feuding. Well, make that feuding on Celebrity Family Feud. Five stars from each soap will try to win money for their respective charities on the Steve Harvey-hosted game show later this week.

It's time for The Young and the Restless to play the feud

The Y&R team competing on Celebrity Family Feud is comprised of Lauralee Bell (Christine), Joshua Morrow (Nicholas), Bryton James (Devon), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis). GH's squad features Maurice Benard (Sonny), Finola Hughes (Anna), Donnell Turner (Curtis), Tanisha Harper (Jordan), and Rena Sofer (Lois).

Bell has posted a video on her Instagram account that previews the exciting episode! "Don’t miss it! @youngandrestlesscbs vs @generalhospitalabc on @familyfeudabc," Bell wrote. "Thank you @iamsteveharveytv and the whole Celebrity Family Feud team for making us feel so welcome in Atlanta!

"Love our #YR family and we couldn’t have done it without our own @mattykane1," Bell added. "Extra fun hanging with our friends at #GH #gameon."

Egan also promoted the upcoming competition on her social account. "Tune in this Thursday, 7/31 to Celebrity Family Feud, 8pm on ABC," Egan shared. "The Young & the Restless vs General Hospital. We had a blast! @familyfeudabc."

As fans of Family Feud are aware, two families square off against each other, trying to guess the answers with the most responses to a question. When one team wins 200 points, that family plays Fast Money, in which they try to get the top responses to a series of questions to win thousands of dollars.

What lucky charities will receive winning funds? GH is playing for The Nature Conservancy, whose goal, according to the organization's website, is to "make the highest possible impact on the climate and biodiversity crises between now and 2030, [and] we're developing breakthrough ideas, amplifying local leaders, and influencing policy."

Y&R is playing for the Entertainment Community Fund’s Southern California Wildfires Fund, which helps those in the entertainment industry who were affected by the Southern California Wildfires.

Currently hosted by Harvey, Family Feud's other hosts over the years include Richard Dawson (Hogan's Heroes), the late Ray Combs, comedian Louie Anderson, Richard Karn (Home Improvement), and soap hopper and Seinfeld star John O'Hurley (ex-Keith/ex-Jonathan, Loving; ex-Kit, All My Children; Jim, Y&R).
