What to expect on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Cane (Billy Flynn) comes to town, as promised. And just as she predicted, Lily (Christel Khalil) is not too happy about it. Victor (Eric Braeden) tries to put certain people in place as he needs them — and cuts out those he doesn’t. When Victor meets with Devon (Bryton James) and Lily, he asks if she was aware that Cane is in Genoa City. Lily tells Victor that she does know that — and that she planned to avoid him. However, both Devon and Lily are surprised when Victor advises that he doesn’t think that ignoring Cane is what Lily should do. Devon won’t want Lily caught up in whatever it is that Victor has planned…but will Lily?

Meanwhile, Claire (Hayley Erin) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) have a meeting with Adam (Mark Grossman), although it’s not one he expects. Adam gets an unexpected ally next week, but it’s not them. Instead, Claire and Kyle are at Adam’s office for another reason: they want to move Claire out of the ranch, and into Adam’s apartment like they talked about a few months ago. But will Adam be willing to let them this time? He said yes when they asked before, but he also got in a lot of trouble from Victor for it. Victor’s already watching Adam like a hawk since he’s been trying to keep Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) happy by not doing what Victor ordered and using Newman Media to do hit pieces on Billy (Jason Thompson).

At the GCAC, the new owner has moved into a suite, and already has company. Cane’s neighbor, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) comes over, ready to talk business, but she’s surprised when Cane reveals he’s invited someone else to join them. Phyllis is none too happy when Billy arrives, ready to get to work.
