Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) have needed a win since Noah (Lucas Adams) went missing, and today, they got one when Victor (Eric Braeden) arrived to aid in the whole Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) mess. While Nick and Sharon tried to locate Noah, Victor went straight to The Shadow Room to confront Nick's nemesis. It wasn't quite happy hour yet for the patrons, but it was for The Young and the Restless viewers. Watching Victor and Matt spar back and forth was like attending a match at Wimbledon. Matt, of course, refused to acknowledge that he was Matt; instead, he maintained that he was Mitch Bacall. Forget about fessing up to Noah's kidnapping. (Yeah, it looks like Det. Burrow, played by Matt Cohen, truly is a bad guy. That is, unless he's playing a long con with Matt Clark.) Victor showed his bemusement as Matt kept denying everything. No man likes to be laughed at unless they're a comedian, and Matt certainly isn't one of those! Braeden and Howarth are too seasoned professionals to play a shouting match. Victor wouldn't get what he wanted that way, and Matt wouldn't show the mogul that he was getting to him. Instead, the two men persisted, hoping to get what they each wanted. Victor offered to pay Matt a king's ransom to get Noah safely, but Matt didn't budge. He doesn't appear to want money. Matt is also not about to give the Newmans an inch by revealing his identity. He has the upper hand for now, but we've no doubt his luck will change (for the worse) now that Victor's on the scene.
