The Young and the Restless spoilers for January 13, 2026, have Victor backing Cane into a corner, Victoria and Adam doing damage control at Newman, and Diane giving Jack an ultimatum.
What's next on The Young and the Restless
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was vanquishing enemies from his life long before Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) ever set foot in Genoa City. We're betting that even though Cane's AI program has a failsafe factor (the program will attack the host user -- Newman Enterprises) that Victor, too, will have a backup plan.
On Tuesday's show, watch for Victor to back Cane into a corner. How is he going to do that? Perhaps Victor will dig into his files and produce the letter that he told Cane he had. Victor let Cane know that wealthy Madame de Lion left her assets to Lord Jeremy Andton (an alias that the late Colin, played by Tristan Rogers) had been using. If Victor can prove that Cane got his funding for Arabesque illegally, then the power pendulum may swing back in Victor's favor!
Sibling act
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Adam (Mark Grossman) got a bit closer last year when he showed sympathy and support over the loss of Cole (J. Eddie Peck). On Tuesday's show, the two of them are going to team up to do damage control at Newman.
Victoria and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) are close, as loving siblings, more than Vicki and Adam are. However, Victoria and Adam are alike in that they lean more into the business side of the family -- a trait inherited from their father, most likely. Adam and Victor acting as a team could help Newman conquer any obstacle -- including Cane's tricky AI program.
Jack and Diane

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) are mostly on the same page in life. They have, in fact, one of the best marriages in Genoa City, a true partnership. However, they're not 100% in agreement. Diane is no fan of Nikki's (Melody Thomas Scott), not just because of their volatile past, but Diane believes that Nikki is too loyal to Victor. Diane feels that Nikki isn't an effective ally to the Abbott family. On Tuesday's episode, watch for Diane to give Jack an ultimatum. Will it be about Nikki or something or someone else?
