Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) are going to have more on their minds than Victor's attacks on Jack (Peter Bergman). They're worried about their son, Nick (Joshua Morrow), who has fallen prey to Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Victor and Nikki's holiday blowout (and by "blowout" we mean battle royale) means nothing now that their son is in danger. It'll be interesting to see (whether or not if and when this crisis passes) if Victor and Nikki will be able to see the bigger picture in life, and he will lay down the torch in his war against Jack.

Phyllis grills Daniel

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), like most mothers, wants what's best for her children. To that end, she's going to question her son, Daniel (Michael Graziadei). She doesn't want her child to get hurt, and she's expressed interest that that's what's going to happen to him if he pursues a relationship with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).

The redhead told Daniel that she knows what it's like to pursue someone who isn't interested in them, a likely reference to her being obsessed with Danny (Michael Damian), who only had eyes for Christine (Lauralee Bell). Will Phyllis change her mind once she finds out that Daniel and Tessa have consummated their relationship? Or will Phyllis change her mind given this development?

Noah (Lucas Adams) and Sienna (Tamara Braun) are safe and sound, but as we saw in yesterday's episode, Matt got the better of Nick (Joshua Morrow) after he got loose from his zip ties. Matt is a man with little to nothing to lose, so Nick is definitely in danger. The two have tussled many times over the years. A knockdown fight they had in Crimson Lights is legendary! And Matt won that battle!

Will Nick be able to outwit and outfight Matt? Now is the time for him to summon all his strength to take down his longtime adversary once and for all! Sharon (Sharon Case) took out the couple's other adversary -- Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). Will Nick be the one to administer the final blow this time to his foe?
