Next week on The Young and the Restless, Phyllis follows through with her threat to Billy. Here’s a look ahead at the episodes we’ll see from Monday, May 5th to Friday, May 9th, 2025.
What to expect on The Young and the Restless

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was extremely hurt and angry. Billy (Jason Thompson) had asked her to work at Chancellor with him, and when no one else would give him the time of day, Phyllis was all in, focused on making Billy a success. Then, Billy fired her. The Chancellor was taken away, and Billy decided to open a new company. He tried to rally the women around him to help build it, but Lily (Christel Khalil), Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and Sally (Courtney Hope) all told him to move on. Once again, Phyllis was his ride or die. But now that Phyllis needed Billy (and her job), he fired her again.
When Phyllis realized that Billy hired Sally as her replacement, the gloves came off. With no hope for return to Abbott Communications, Phyllis decided to make it, and Billy, her sworn enemy. Now, Phyllis needs a new alliance but with her so-called best friends and business partners stabbing her in the back, she may as well turn to the guy who at least betrays her to her face. Next week on The Young and the Restless, Phyllis meets with Victor (Eric Braeden) in hopes to team up against a common enemy.

Romeo and Juliet
Claire (Hayley Erin) had high hopes that she could charm Victor into being on board with her dating Kyle (Michael Mealor). But that has fallen through and Victor’s more determined than ever to break them up. Ever the optimist, Claire has a new idea to win him over. We’re not sure how it’ll help but she turns to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to plan a party.
