The Young and the Restless star Courtney Hope is thrilled to be nominated again for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Sally Spectra. She won in this category in 2024.

Uppermost in Hope's mind was reaching out to her family to let them know the good news that she was nominated once she heard the news. "It felt really cool," Hope shared with Soap Opera Digest.

She was happy to be nominated last year (she won!) and is happy to be acknowledged by her peers again this year. On the day the noms were released, she was on set, so she celebrated her and the show's many nominations with her Y&R family. She also called her real family, too! This year, she'll be taking her dad, Phil, to the awards ceremony.

The actress's reel includes scenes with Adam (Mark Grossman), who confirmed he'd been lying to Sally about his relationship with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), who is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

The reel also has scenes where Billy (Jason Thompson) confronted Adam about telling Sally the truth! Additionally, there is a scene in which Sally talks to Billy about the anniversary of her daughter Ava's death -- and how Ava's dad, Adam, had forgotten about it.

Courtney Hope For The Future

Daytime Emmy weekend will be a family affair for Hope. It's not just her dad coming to town. Hope has already helped her father select a tuxedo for the big night.

The last time Hope brought her dad to the Daytime Emmys was several years ago, when she was a presenter and when she was on The Bold and the Beautiful (as Sally). This experience is a bit different. "I'm really excited for him to come along," she shares.

Hope is thrilled to be able to bring her family members into her world in daytime and with The Young and the Restless, as they supported her when she had stars in her eyes and was pursuing her dreams. "It's just kind of nice to have them experience what they have also dedicated so much to," Hope shares.
