What to expect on The Young and the Restless

Now that Sharon (Sharon Case) has remembered what happened the night of Heather’s (Vail Bloom) murder, there are more questions. While she knows that Heather was conscious after they argued, Sharon distinctly remembers someone grabbing her shoulder from behind.

It’s all well and good that Sharon isn’t Heather’s killer, but if she wasn’t the one who did it, who was? Regardless of her innocence, it sounded like Sharon was in the room when the murder happened. And that person is still on the loose.

If someone has tampered with Sharon’s medications, someone else ran Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) off the road but let Sharon think it was her…and someone else killed Heather. Who is it? Is it all the same person, what do they want, and is Sharon still their target?

On Friday, Nick (Joshua Morrow) worries about Sharon’s safety. But she isn’t the only one in danger.

Jordan and Ian’s past

Jordan (Colleen Zenk) recalled in a series of flashbacks how she and Ian (Ray Wise) met when he counseled convicts. He had come to the prison she was in and talked to her about repentance. However, Jordan made it clear that her biggest enemies were the Newmans, just like Ian.

Jordan has realized she may be in over her head with Ian. Either he’s not letting her get the revenge that she came to Genoa City to get, or Ian is threatening her. She didn’t come to just do Ian’s bidding, but he had her under his thumb. She has been the one who’s done the crimes since they arrived, and he keeps threatening more orders.

On Friday, Ian wants Jordan to play dirty. Will she comply? Or is Jordan ready to fight only her own battles?

A hard(er) time of year

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) knows that the season is particularly harder this year for him and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant), but he needs to do what he can to make it better.

As difficult as it is, Daniel hides his own grief to make things better for Lucy on Friday. Can he put a smile back on her face while she’s dealing with the loss of her mother at Christmastime?
