Congratulations are in order for The Young and the Restless' Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtis), who gave birth to her first child on August 9.
The actress confirmed the news on Twitter with photos of her new bundle of joy. "Cats out da bag #yrfanevent Introducing Niam!!!," she wrote. "Thx 4 all your [love] & support during this time in my life! #hevon #YR"
As Soap Central previously reported, there's a rumor going around that Y&R had to hire a body double for Morgan for the storyline that will usher her alter ego off the canvas during the actress' maternity leave.

The actress later released an official statement about her new son, who reportedly came a week early. "As cliche as it sounds, I have never been this in love in my life!" she says. "My heart feels like it's overflowing. I just stare at him for hours and nothing else seems important. I am so thankful for this little man and this crazy adventure called motherhood."
