Viewers of The Young and the Restless can look forward to a return by Christel Khalil (Lily Winters), who's back on the scene with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and newly returned actress Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair).

Fans of The Young and the Restless are thrilled by some behind-the-scenes videos that show Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) back on set at the CBS soap opera.

Mishael Morgan, who recently returned to Genoa City -- not as Hilary Curtis, but in the new role of Amanda Sinclair -- posted a cute video clip of her dancing alongside her beloved castmate with the caption, "Reunited & it feels so good!"

Funny enough, Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) used the exact same caption when posting a video of his reunion with his long-term TV lover in Y&R's makeup room. Someone can be heard in the background exclaiming, "Back together again!"

Khalil chose to take a step back from the show in the summer of 2018 and subsequently dropped to recurring status. Though she has returned to the canvas on a few occasions -- including for the tribute episodes honoring Kristoff St. John (ex-Neil Winters) and to play a character named Iris in the novel Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) wrote this summer -- her loyal fans have missed seeing Lily front and center. Therefore, the news that she is back to film scenes is extremely welcomed.

Khalil's upcoming airdate and the storyline that prompts Lily's return have yet to be announced, but Soap Central will bring updates about that information as soon as it becomes available.

How do you feel about Christel Khalil returning to Y&R? What do you think brings Lily back to the canvas, and what kind of storyline do you hope the powers that be have planned?
