A Valentine's Day hostage situation on Hawaii Five-0 will be pushed to the max by Darnell Kirkwood (ex-Jordan Wilde, The Young and the Restless), who plays a convenience store robber on the primetime series later this month.

The Young and the Restless viewers know Darnell Kirkwood as Genoa City photographer Jordan Wilde, a con man who used to run scams with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). So, it won't be a stretch when they see him in his next role, which is a nefarious robber on an upcoming episode of Hawaii Five-0.

Kirkwood will be appearing on the CBS series this Valentine's Day, February 14, in a storyline that will see main characters Tani Rey (Meaghan Rath) and Dr. Noelani Cunha (Kimee Balmilero) get caught in a convenience store robbery and taken hostage. Production stills from the CBS drama show Kirkwood in the role of what appears to be one of the robbers, holding a gun to the head of hostages.

Based on the 1960s series of the same name, CBS's Hawaii Five-0 is in its tenth season and follows an influential state police task force that works to protect Hawaiian citizens by apprehending criminals throughout the state.

Kirkwood starred on Y&R from 2017 to 2018. His other credits include Bosch, Burn Notice, and Scorpion. He recently filmed a small role in the film Top Gun: Maverick, which is currently in post-production and due to hit theaters this June.
