Former The Young and the Restless star Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Braña) has sold her compound in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. The Desperate Housewives alum reportedly took a loss on the property formerly owned by Tom Cruise.

Actress and producer Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Braña, The Young and the Restless) has it all: beauty, talent, fame, and a dream life. But unfortunately, having it all doesn't exactly mean you can have it all, as proven by the fact that she reportedly sold her Hollywood Hills home for less than she paid for it.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Longoria originally bought the property from Tom Cruise five years ago for $11.4 million and just sold it for $8.25 million -- a loss of $3.15 million.

The gated, French-influenced estate includes a three-bedroom villa, a four-bedroom guesthouse, and two studios. The villa features cathedral-style ceilings, Venetian plaster walls, and wide-planked oak wooden floors. It also has three bathrooms, a farmhouse style kitchen, a wine-tasting room, and a master suite on the second story that opens up to a terrace.

The property boasts stone pathways throughout the grounds, water fountains dotted around the gardens, outdoor entertainment and dining areas, a swimming pool, a spa, a footbridge, and views of the valley below.

Longoria starred on Y&R from 2001 to 2003. As fans may recall, her character is Paul Williams' (Doug Davidson) ex-wife and the mother of his late son, Ricky Williams (Peter Porte). After leaving the CBS soap opera, the actress went on to star on shows like Desperate Housewives, Telenovela, and Grand Hotel. She's currently set to direct a biopic called Flamin' Hot that tells the story of Flamin' Hot Cheetos inventor Richard Montañez.
