Trevor St. John is out as The Young and the Restless' Tucker

It looks like The Young and the Restless fans have seen the end of this version of Tucker McCall.

Tucker McCall has been on thin ice with the denizens of Genoa City since he first returned from his honeymoon with Ashley late last year. Now that we know what really happened on that honeymoon, Trevor St. John is bidding The Young and the Restless adieu.

St. John took to social media on June 18 and tweeted his goodbye to the soap he has called home for nearly two years.

"Dear #YR @YandR_CBS @YRInsider #YoungandRestless fans: As you well know, Tuckers come and Tuckers go, and so the cycle continues... this Tucker is in his go phase," St. John tweeted. "I thank each and every member of the wonderful cast, the crew, the directors, the producers and production staff, and CBS/Sony for the great experience from day one to the last. I feel so fortunate to have played such a terrific role. Most importantly, I want to offer my heartfelt gratitude to you the #YR @YandR_CBS @YRInsider #YR @YandR_CBS @YRInsider #YoungandRestless fans, THANK YOU!"

St. John took on the role of Katherine Chancellor's son in September of 2022 after the character, originally played by Stephen Nichols, hadn't been seen for almost ten years. Devon's biological father immediately set his sights on his ex-wife Ashley and convinced her to marry him again. The marriage went sour in record time, causing Tucker to fall for Audra, another woman who recently kicked him out of her life.

No stranger to daytime, St. John made a name for himself on soaps as Todd Manning/Victor Lord Jr. on One Life to Live from 2003 to 2013. The actor assures fans that he will continue working on various projects and urges followers to check out one of his latest films. He also seems to leave the door open for a Y&R return.

"Tucker might be gone for the time being, but I'm not going anywhere," St. John posted on X. "I've got projects in the works, and if you haven't seen my film, A GOOD ENOUGH DAY, it's now available to stream for free on Tubi!"
