The Young and the Restless star Joshua Morrow's heartfelt thanks to fans after 30 years as Nick

Joshua Morrow celebrated an amazing The Young and the Restless milestone with a very special episode -- and love from fans.

On June 21, The Young and the Restless took Shick fans for a walk down memory lane as Joshua Morrow celebrated three decades as Victor and Nikki Newman's often fickle son, Nicholas.

Morrow debuted in the role on that exact day in 1994, when Nick was still a high school student and the actor was still getting his feet wet in Hollywood. Through the years, we have watched Nick grow into a husband, businessman, father, and even a playboy once his marriage to Sharon ended.

Although Sharon and Nick have not been married for well over a decade, Morrow's 30th anniversary episode was dedicated to the pairing as they relived their love story for their daughter Faith.

Y&R also celebrated the day on social media with several Instagram posts, including a video reel of Morrow's start on the soap when Nick returned from boarding school and reunited with his mom, Nikki. The video also featured Victor teaching a teenage Nick to box, as well as a more recent scene of Victor telling Nick how proud Victor is of him.

The outpouring of love prompted the actor to take to social media himself and express his gratitude for fan support through the years.

"I just wanted to throw a big thanks for the outpouring of support and love from my 30th!" Morrow tweeted. "It's been truly a magical ride and my deep appreciation for you guys is massive. Thanks for sticking with me and your boy Nick. I love playing him and it's been an incredible honor!"

Morrow is also passing along the family acting torch. Thirty years after his debut as legacy character Nick, his son Crew will make his own daytime debut as legacy character Will Spencer on Y&R's sister soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, in August.
