On The Young and the Restless, Chance is at it again. He’s been put in charge of another investigation, which means we at home will have to pitch in and help. Grab your popcorn, and use it to leave a trail to the clues.
The Young and the Restless whodunnit

Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) is dead, and someone on the grounds is a murderer — so everyone is a suspect. Damian was killed with a dagger in the maze. You’d be forgiven if you thought this was something out of the family board game Clue or you had opened a murder mystery box for a game night with friends. Still, just like those two examples, we’re going to have to figure it out ourselves, as the only twists going on here are the ones you're ankles will be doing when you fall into the numerous plot holes. Like you, I don't play a detective on a TV show, nor am I one in real life, but hey, there are some things that even you or I would have been investigating so far.
At the chateau, Chance (Connor G. Floyd) and Cane (Billy Flynn) were checking surveillance footage when they discovered that the digital recording had been tampered with to remove a scene. The chateau is situated much further up the mountainside at a considerable elevation than the train (and the maze for that matter). There is a chance — no pun intended — that the lack of wifi reception the guests are experiencing is due to the train carriages and the maze being located in a dead spot for reception. Let's go with that, and not say it’s a cell jammer at work just yet. But when Chance traveled up the slope with Cane to the chateau, and when he was in the building with cell service, why was Chance’s cell phone not going off constantly with all his missed messages and calls? Wouldn’t his phone have automatically connected to the first available carrier as soon as it had a signal?

Even if they couldn’t automatically connect to Cane’s server, he definitely has one as he and Amanda are able to communicate with it. Cane has supposedly called the local police yet no one has questioned how he managed to do that. Even if it was a landline, they have been asking for weeks now how to reach their family and friends back home, and Cane hasn’t offered up a means to communication. For that matter, he hasn’t even let them into his home. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the invitation specifically say “his summer home” and not “limited access to my grounds?”
Whether or not Cane actually made the call to the police in town, Chance should have asked to use the same phone or at least see it. He’s in the building, finally — but isn’t taking a tour? Let’s not even begin with why Adam (Mark Grossman), upon arriving and seeing the state of the mountainside and the tracks, etc., didn't just hire a helicopter to plonk him down right outside the chateau. Presumably, Cane has his own helipad available; what billionaire doesn't have a helicopter?

All you home sleuths, we are going to have to band together on this one and help Chance out. Go team! Are there any other clues or vital bits of information that you have discovered while watching? Watch your step for plot holes and comment below.
