Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Michael started the week by mucking about and finding out, and then doubled down to make matters worse. What started as a normal meeting between Victor and Michael took a quick detour to Oopsville when Michael made the mistake of wanting to make informed decisions and educated guesses so he could advise his client to the best of his ability. Not saying Victor was in the right, but knowing him as long as he has, Michael should have known that “protecting” Victor meant controlling him, at least, in Victor’s eyes, it does. Sure enough, Victor started dropping hints with snark, in case Michael couldn’t see the steam coming out of his ears. But then, Michael started yelling. Full on bellowing with fist pumping and everything, telling Victor how he has been there for him through everything from keeping his secrets to being held at gunpoint with Ian, as if Victor needed a reminder to be grateful when he was in the middle of exploding. So Victor told him off, gave him orders to get their spy Mathison out of Jabot, and sent Michael on his way. Michael stepped outside but didn’t take time to lick his wounds: He went and met Jack instead. Is he about to do something else that Victor is sure to hate? Victor already feels betrayed, but did he just push Michael too far?
