Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Billy was back to being Silly and not into Philly anymore. And it made even less sense than yesterday. What is happening? I’m taking off my TeamBilly badge, and I don’t like it. Remember when Daniel asked his mom why she was putting all her eggs in Billy’s basket when he had nothing to lose and she had everything to lose if he let her down? Daniel couldn’t get on board with joining Abbott Communications, not just because he was still dealing with his grief. He knew he couldn’t deal with it there because it was an unstructured mess. He kept asking why they wanted him there so badly and what he would be doing. “Whatever you want” might be the desired answer to some, but shouldn’t you at least know the job description for what you’re being recruited for? Billy doesn’t have one for anyone. He repeatedly told Phyllis she wasn’t his partner, she was under him in pecking order. Until he fired her, then he let her know she would’ve been his partner, but not anymore. Now, Billy is selling the position to Sally, and she has some valid questions — but he can’t answer them because he doesn’t seem to know what the company does. It’s a communications company...maybe it would be a good start to be able to communicate what the company offers and what her role would be to make whatever it is they do happen. Billy’s admitted he doesn’t have a plan B, but it’s starting to sound like he doesn’t even have a plan A. Hopefully, this turns around quickly, and I can go back to being in the TeamBilly fan club.
