Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

On The Young and the Restless today, Jack proved us right all along: what’s good for him is not for Billy. And really, we’d like to know why. We had to listen to Jack complain ad nauseam (emphasis on the nausea) how he wished that Billy would let go of his grudge against Victor because it was unhealthy. He carried on for what seemed like forever, how he wished he could teach Billy this valuable lesson, as if he were a little kid, and whined that Billy wouldn’t listen to him. “Maybe it’s not my lesson to teach,” he sighed….correctly. Not only was it not his lesson to teach his grown man brother, but it was, apparently, his lesson to learn. Because no sooner had Billy finally had enough of Jack acting like his dad rather than his brother, but Jack revealed that he was the one who wanted to do exactly that: partner with Cane so he could stick it to Victor. But here’s the kicker…”I think my reason is more noble than Billy’s,” Jack said, because he just has to be superior, even when making the same mistake. So now what, the two brothers both pair up with Cane to take down Victor — and end up taking down each other instead?
