Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

On The Young and the Restless today, Schick fans rejoiced…kinda. Nick had Sharon’s full attention while he told her all about his latest instructions from his dad to go after the big, bad Cane Ashby. Sharon listened intently as he foretold of the pending corporate war when all the businesses in Genoa City might fold for the billionaire if he waves his magic wand, but Sharon’s Prince Charming was going to do whatever he could to protect everything from Chancellor to Cassidy First (because that makes sense….why wouldn’t billionaire Cane Ashby go after a charity organization? Sigh…) For some reason, Nick thought it was possible, or maybe he just wanted to be Sharon’s knight in shining armor that badly so he gave her something to worry about. Regardless, once again, we came close to a Shick reunion. Because Nick leaned in to “show” Sharon what he felt, and their lips almost locked…except he pulled back when people walked into the coffee shop. Is Nick worried about what others will think if he gets back with Sharon? Maybe he should decide on that before leading her — and the viewers — on any further.
