Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless today, while Audra was gaslighting their cousin, Devon went and blabbed everything that Nate had just confided in him to Lily. Sure, neither of them is a fan of Audra, but Devon knows his sister pretty well. Did he tell Lily about Nate’s concerns about Audra to ensure that she’d go after her? With knowing next to nothing about the details of Audra’s deal with Victor, or how far she went with Kyle, Lily announced that she hated Audra now more than ever. As soon as she was seething, Devon wanted to change the topic to Cane, as if he wanted to ensure that Lily stayed furious. But then, Devon said something interesting — if not a tad confusing. He said that because of the whole Aristotle Dumas estate murder drama, it ruined the chance for Lily and Cane to reunite, and Lily replied, “I guess we’ll never know” as if she'd been open to that all along. Now, I wasn’t going to say much about it since he seemed to help move along the storyline, but we’ve been doing some revisionist history lately where these two are involved. Lily’s response today indicated she’d considered it, or had been, at least, open to a reunion with Cane. But if that’s the case, why was she so livid at him for years already about forgiving his father? We can’t start doing revisionist history every month here.
