Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless
On The Young and the Restless today, Holden spoke for all of us when he had an impromptu run-in with Lily in the park. Lily still wore her angry pants as she scolded him for even being in town after she’d warned him not to trust Cane, then ranted how he wasn’t a very good friend to the guy she’d just met. Holden calmly explained that he was very loyal to Damian for years, but as soon as his BFF met her and got a new brother, he ditched him. But when Lily continued with her string of insults riddled with invasive questions, Holden dipped into our message boards and gave her the comeuppance she’s needed for a while. Less calmly, he told the uppity ex-wife of Cane and non-widow of Damian that nothing he, nor Cane did was any of her concern, and she should take a look in the mirror and analyze her own feelings and behavior instead of everyone else’s. Of course, Lily took that well. Maybe that cool exterior and snarky attitude was a turn on challenge for Damian, but Holden wasn’t having it. If more people called her out like Holden just did, everyone (including Lily) would probably be in a better mood in her presence.
