Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless today, Cane took one phone call and flipped the script on Victor. At the end of yesterday’s show, Victor called Cane from Adam’s office at Newman Media and told him that he wanted to talk to him. In TGVN language, that means ‘drop whatever you’re doing, figure out where I am, and come to me immediately.’ In Ashbyan, that means ‘whatever.’ So we got some comic relief when Victor called back a while later. He had gone to the ranch and waited, but Cane didn’t show up, and that seemed to confuse The Moustache. He called Cane and asked where he was. “The same place I was the last time you called,” Cane quipped. Victor reminded Cane that he had told him he wanted to see him, but Cane clapped back. He told him that all Victor had done was say he wanted to talk, but “then he hung up on him.” Sure, Cane later agreed to go find out what the big guy wanted, but in that moment, he talked to Victor in a way that we wish more people would. Maybe Claire should team up with Cane after all — Victor wouldn’t know what hit him.
