Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

Who says that strong women can't have female friendships on The Young and the Restless? Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) doesn't have a ton of supporters these days. Those who remember Sally Spectra's (Courtney Hope) time in Los Angeles may recall that she didn't have many female friends. But that's not the case with Audra and Sally. They're as tight as Lucy and Ethel, and Mary and Rhoda. No one would have blamed Sally if she had slept in the day after the launch party for Abbott Communications, but she made time for her bestie, Audra, at Society. While Audra may have felt left out of the Abbott Communications gala, she wanted to know how it went from Sally because Audra cares about her friend. The two women are a wonderful support system for one another. No one likes hearing what they may be avoiding, but Sally has a very personable way of getting Audra to open her eyes, for example, regarding her dynamic with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Sally knows what it's like to be down on your luck. She came to Genoa City without a great support system (outside of Lauren Fenmore, played by Tracey Bregman). Sally is still trying to help Audra get a job at Abbott Communications, giving her friend sound advice on how to behave when she meets with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) without coming off as overbearing or judgmental. Audra, in turn, supports Sally in her endeavors, and it's clear that Audra appreciates her friend.
