Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

What happened on The Young and the Restless

The scenes on the look at Chancellor Park between enemies Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) on The Young and the Restless were superbly acted and directed. The lighting was terrific, too. But we have to confess that Matt's threat to jump off the railing to his death, threatening to frame Nick in the process, fell short. It's no wonder that Nick called his bluff and dared him. He said to Matt that he'd beat the charges just like he did last time. Yes, the last time. And that's our point. Matt already once tried to frame Nick for his death when he pulled the tubes from his body when he was in the hospital. Matt "died" and Nick had some explaining to do! Why wouldn't the police believe Nick again that Matt was stalking him and threatening him and his family? And we certainly hope that Nick's not serious about giving Matt a tax-free $1 million to get him to leave town after handing Sienna (Tamara Braun) back safe and sound. It's not that a Matt-free life wouldn't be worth it...but how could it possibly be enforced? All Nick would have to do is sneak back into town, kidnap someone close to Nick, and it all starts all over again. Matt said that Nick should not involve the police, but that's exactly what he needs to do. Matt has little to no resources. Even his threats are empty.
