Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

Two women sparring is a common sight on The Young and the Restless. In the show's early days, Kay (Katherine Chancellor) went up against Jill Abbott (Brenda Dickson; later, Jess Walton). Today, that tradition continues, as we were reminded today, with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and Claire (Hayley Erin). It's hard to know which lady has the advantage. Audra's a tough woman who has had to fight for everything she's ever gotten in life. That sure sounds like she'd out-match heiress Claire. However, Claire didn't grow up with a silver spoon in her mouth. She was raised by her evil Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and went so far as to try to kill the Newmans before realizing they weren't so evil after all. Claire and Audra almost always trade barbs, but their interaction today at Society got physical! Audra went for the figurative jugular when she teased Claire that Holden (Nathan Owens) only laughs at her remarks because he's trying to get her money, just like he flirted with rich women in Los Angeles. Audra slapped Claire, which prompted Claire to go for Audra's throat! Holden broke the two women up, but the damage was done. Claire threatened to shut Audra up for good! How intense will this rivalry get?
