Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, there’s a mystery afoot, alright. Several of them, aside from figuring out who killed Damian. Not only does Chance not have jurisdiction to be doing a murder investigation in France, but now he’s contaminating a crime scene, possibly witness tampering, and, at best, disturbing my peace. When Cane told Chance that he invited him to investigate his pre-meditatated murder before it happened, what exactly did Chance do about it? One would think he’d have spent his time by reviewing Cane’s existing security system, finding and meeting the staff, and/or walking the grounds and learning that there was a way in and out, unlike Cane told the rest of his guests. But unsurprisingly, and according to GCPD’s finest, Chance has just been busy playing hacky sack with Carter. Also, given where Damian was lying and the knife wound in his back, it wasn’t that hard to deduce the direction from which it was hurled…one would think. But not for Chance. He asked Cane about the direction the knife came from, and then concurred he was probably right — but we’re not sure why he bothered asking since he didn’t look for the killer. Who? That’s right, there’s a killer at large, not that you would know it by anyone’s reaction, because apparently, ensuring that everyone else Chance knows from Genoa City was safe, hunkered down somewhere safely, or even still alive is the furthest thing from Chance’s mind.
