Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, once again, Chance is in the middle of a murder mystery, and he’s the prime suspect’s alibi. Just like with Daniel, Chance can account for Cane’s whereabouts because, simply, Cane was with Chance. Since that seems to rule out Cane’s ability to be a cold-blooded knife thrower, Chance has moved on to the obvious choice: Phyllis. Why? Because Phyllis faked her own death years ago. But Chance needed Phyllis to point out that he was Cane’s alibi, which seemed to confuse the poor guy. With Amanda on the estate (and Michael presumably still there but out of sight), maybe Chance should consult the attorneys and find out what they would need for court, and just follow that to-do list, since once again, he seems lost. He was brought to the estate as a guest, but then told of an impending murder. Of course, he did nothing to prepare; he just played hacky sack with Carter. He didn’t even use any key phrases like “I’ve secured the perimeter” or “I’m calling for backup.” Nope, he just went off and used his ankles to fling a sandbag in the air for days until one of his homies got killed. But knowing that, and knowing that the killer got away, he hasn’t even checked on most of the guests still remaining at the estate. Well, presumably remaining — Chance also hasn’t figured out that there’s a way out. But this is Chance, after all. Yep, GCPD’s finest is on the case to make us pull our hair out once again while he stumbles for clues, but never gets one.
