Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Young and the Restless

Not to beat a dead horse, but if we were lost as to why the GCPD would rehire Chance as a detective, we’re no more clear on Cane hiring him as a private eye. Chance had one job: prevent a murder before it happened. Obviously, no one is surprised that this was asking too much of Genoa City’s finest, but common-sense questions remain. Why does the billionaire (aka prime suspect and intended murder target) with the CCTVs everywhere not have a security team? He thought he was going to be murdered…and he relied on…Chance?? Come on. And why hasn’t he looked at the CCTVs to see where the murderer came from, went to, and if they revealed themselves? We can’t seriously be the only ones wanting to know. Anyone else wondering why people claimed all night that the maze had been changed, but Cane and the murderer had no problems with navigation? And why has Chance not checked for other victims — and instead sent all the suspects off to chat amongst themselves before talking to any witnesses? He hasn’t even warned anyone not to drink from the bars. Where’s that bottle and glasses anyway? No, not asking for their safety…at this point, we need a drink. Something tells us Damian wasn’t the last victim in the French Riviera, and that nothing is as it seems.
