Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Nick seems to have short-term memory. Just a few months ago, Phyllis was begging Nick to listen to her, as she knew Sharon was framing Daniel for the murder of Heather. Nick defended Sharon and told Phyllis she was crazy. She tried a few times to get through to him, but he not only rudely turned his back on her about it, but she almost died because of it. Okay, so he saved her from the burning car, but he still told Phyllis to be nice to Sharon, even though she was right the whole time. Now, he wants Phyllis’ loyalty in case Cane is coming after his family’s business, even though said family treated her like dirt and he didn’t defend her in front of them. After Damian died, Nick must have suspected he might incriminate himself with the murder weapon, so he began complaining that he was about to be framed. Phyllis adamantly told Nick that if anyone tried to frame him, she would kill them. “Do you hear me? I will kill them, Nick!” She even said it twice — in front of Chance. And yet, Nick’s still alive. So what’s his rage about today that she’s disloyal? All Phyllis did was tell him that Cane has alibis during the murder, and he’s coming after her like she planted a knife in his back and not his bathroom.
