Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

On The Young and the Restless, it seems Aristotle Dumas' party at his summer home in the French Riviera wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment shindig. The reclusive billionaire has only been “on the scene” in the past six years or so, as far as Genoa City businesspeeps go, but he’s been putting in some time into his digs in France. So far, we’ve seen that Dumas got his own personal train that travels (presumably from the airport) right to his estate. His own train station? That’s kind of cool. And it’s his own train, or else it wouldn’t be custom-fit with closed-circuit TVs. So the first batch of guests arrived, and maybe it’s supposed to be more of a Murder on the Orient Express, but the way they were mismatched as a group, the first train ride was more like those on board the S.S. Minnow. Nikki and Victor in their best traveling attire like the Howells, Sharon was wide-eyed and pleasant like Mary Ann, Nick was the Professor (roll with it), and then Billy and Sally like Gilligan and Ginger. As for the train, maybe it was a 3-hour tour, but we doubt it will get lost. Once they arrive, it's a whole other issue, though — a maze awaits them when they get there. And apparently, the maze is just their “first challenge,” which indicates more to come. Maybe they’ll need to build a transistor radio out of a coconut. Or maybe they’ll have to come to some sort of agreement on who gets Chancellor. The only mystery that’s been solved for sure so far is that voice at the end of the episode that said, “It won’t be long now” was definitely that of Billy Flynn.
