The Young and the Restless' Daily YAPP Recap, May 26: Will Claire blow up Kyle and Audra, and beHolden the endgame?

Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Kyle made the mistake of leaving Claire at the GCAC bar while he ditched her for Audra. Not only was it rude, but while he was gone, Claire was left to enjoy her new favorite drink with Holden at the bar. Between Holden’s questions about Victor and implying that there’s some obvious attraction between the exes, Claire was given a lot to think about. Too bad that downstairs, all of Audra’s excessive name-dropping of major brands didn’t have Kyle questioning the product placement in the middle of an episode (seriously, were they taking a page from Beyond the Gates?) but instead he seemed to forget that he was supposed to be playing Audra — and seemed to be visualizing what it would look like for the two of them to be working together again. Kyle might think he’s got a plan to be one step ahead of his ex, but he looks like he’s already messing it all up. When Claire’s with Holden, she’s suave, clever, and…dare we say…sexy. Gone is the Pollyanna act, and uber-naivete. Somehow, when Claire’s with Holden, she becomes a woman, and the one he describes as confident and can hold her own. While Audra works to break up Kyle and Claire, Holden might be the one who does the trick. But will it get him Audra back? Or is Claire going to end up working for Holden?
